Governance

Wesley Place is a planned unit development (PUD) in Knox County, Tennessee. Owning all Wesley Place common areas is a not-for-profit corporation: Wesley Place Homeowners Association (WPHA), Incorporated. The owners of every unit are members of this corporation and each unit casts one vote. Testerman Construction Company, the original developer, no longer has any ownership.

Board of Directors

WPHA Incorporated has a six member Board of Directors elected by the membership. Each director serves a three year term with two new directors nominally elected each year.

Officers

WPHA, Inc. officers are a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. The Board of Directors may appoint other officers as needed.

Management Company

WPHA contracts with HOA Management to execute a number of management functions.

Committees

WPHA's Covenants and By-laws require a Nominating Committee and an Architectural Control Committee. In addition to these, Wesley Place currently has the following permanent committees: Grounds Committee, Pool Committee, Social Committee, Welcoming Committee, Lamp-keepers Team, and Finance Committee.

Activities

Wesley Place has an active book club that meets each month. Members also informally get together to play bridge, golf, and other activities.
